A exhilarating testimony on persevering through motherhood.
Life in the Community
Lunch & Learn
I had an amazing time at the Lunch & Learn event by A Girl Like Me, Inc. I really enjoyed meeting and speaking with all the ladies about the importance of a support system while parenting. I thank Tyra Moore for inviting Mom2Mommy and Ms. Vivian Gray from Pregnancy Aid Detroit to be a part of this special moment.

Lunch & Learn
Hearing Winona Smith from Med Pro Advocacy share her story about why she is a voice for those families needing her assistance is why people like her are truly needed in the medical field.

Winning Futures Mentoring Session
It was an honor being able to observe the Winning Futures Mentoring Program at Harper Woods High School. I had lots of fun playing Jenga with Chris Cahill and as you can see, we didn't get far in the game LOL.
Winning Futures Mentoring Session
This guy right here...HILARIOUS! Rob Ottow has such a great energy, and it was a pleasure listening to him speak and motivate all the teens. I look forward to working with him in the future and being a part of the Winning Futures team.
Moms Who Persevere Scholarship
Starting the Moms Who Persevere Scholarship and speaking with the Vice President for Institutional Advancement & Government Relations, Reginald Best, Jr. was truly rewarding. He believes in what Mom 2 Mommy is doing in the community and looks forward to granting a deserving mother the scholarship to help push her forward.
Detroit Soup Pitch Competition
It was an absolute pleasure seeing my dear friend Saedha Nix who is the owner of NutriBae Real Fruit Smoothies compete at the Detroit Soup pitch competition. FYI, her smoothies are the BEST! And yes, I'm expecting another girl. Pray for me ya'll lol.
Detroit Soup Pitch Competition
Mom 2 Mommy was invited to hear all of the entrepreneurs share their pitch for a chance to win $1000 at the Detroit Soup Pitch Competition and guess whose friend is up there! That's right, owner of NutriBae Real Fruit Smoothies, Saesha Nix. Go NutriBae!! For a taste of her delicious smoothies, follow nutri_bae on IG. Thank me later.
